That old saying "We are what we eat!" couldn't be more true. Good nutrition, choosing the right foods to create a healthy body, makes a difference in our quality of life, in our moods, and in how we view ourselves. Once you dive into my site, you’ll chuckle that I have a “Home” page with veggies and fruits. They make a pretty centerpiece around that heart….and I do still eat some fruits….but I’ll leave you dive in to read the rest of the story.
Actually, a healthy body is more than nutrition alone. A healthy body also includes emotional and spiritual health, as our mental well-being makes a difference in our physical health. It’s about finding out who you are, what makes you happy, what makes you tick. Are you happy with your job? With your relationships? In your journey? Good health is also about having someone to talk to, someone to share ideas with, and someone who will listen to YOU for a change.
Let’s face it . . . it’s almost impossible to have a frame of mind for success if you aren’t happy, if you aren’t healthy, all because you aren’t choosing the right foods and the right decisions for you. If you are eating a crappy diet, or foods that aren’t right for your body, your brain is going to be too foggy to even work properly. Your frame of mind is going to be fighting a losing battle, because food matters to your brain and how you feel overall!
